Drew Sackheim Bio
Drew Sackheim’s life in photography began with a skateboard
crash and a broken wrist. An L.A. teen who suddenly couldn’t surf, Drew picked
up a camera.
Though photography coaxed Drew from his pro-surfing dreams,
movement, water, and balance are still essential to his work. A distinctively
European attitude informs Drew’s photos, the result of twenty years living and
working in Milan, Paris, and London. Now based in Brooklyn, Drew has shot for Alexander McQueen, Vogue Bambini, Interview Magazine, Marie Claire Enfants, and Rolling Stone.
Drew is known for his ability to capture the elusive,
ephemeral, and in between. Recently, Drew has been developing video work to
compliment his still photography. He is available for fashion, lifestyle, and
editorial work.
